Note that all afternoon and evening courts are not guaranteed, they are on a first-come, first-serve, basis. The club does ask that you check the calendar and try to honor the events that are scheduled.
Any events scheduled by La Deportiva take precedence.
Beginner Lessons-2 Options Available: Sign-up Required

Level 1 Beginner’s: “Learn the Rules” Classes (1st or 2nd time players)
- Lessons for BRAND NEW players.
- You will learn how to keep score, the rules of the game and how to hit the ball.
- Loaner paddles are available if you haven’t purchased a paddle yet.
- This class is taught on court # 3 by volunteers of the SMA Pickleball Club.
- Limit 6 players

Level 2 Beginner’s: “Integration into Court Play” Classes (3rd + time playing)
- Lessons for beginners that already understand the rules and how to play and are ready to integrate into games with other beginners.
- You will learn how the court system works at Deportiva, our paddle stack system and begin to play games with other beginner players.
- You should have your own paddle at this point.
- This class is taught by volunteers of the SMA Pickleball Club.
- Meet your instructor at court 3.
- Limit 12 players
